Wingdings Translator

Wingdings is the symbol font Microsoft shipped with Windows 3.1 in 1990. Instead of letters it draws pictures — hands, envelopes, arrows, zodiac signs — mapped onto the ordinary keyboard positions, so typing "hello" in Wingdings produces a row of symbols rather than a word. This Wingdings translator converts in both directions: type English and read the symbols, or paste symbols and recover the original message.

Because the real Wingdings font is not installed on most phones or on the web, this tool uses the closest Unicode equivalent for each glyph. That means the symbols display correctly for everyone, on any device, without downloading a font — and you can copy and paste them into Discord, Instagram, documents and messages. The trade-off is that a few glyphs are approximations rather than pixel-perfect matches to the original font.
