Click Speed Test

This click speed test measures your CPS — clicks per second. Pick a duration, then click the pad as fast as you can; the timer starts on your first click, so there is no countdown to sit through. When time runs out the click speed test shows your total clicks, your CPS, and your best score of the session.

The average click speed is about 6–7 clicks per second over a 5-second test. Anything above 8 CPS is fast, and the very top scores come from techniques rather than raw finger speed: jitter clicking tenses the forearm to vibrate the finger (10–14 CPS), butterfly clicking alternates two fingers on one button (15–20 CPS), and drag clicking drags a fingertip across the button to register a burst of clicks at once.

The 10-second click speed test is the most widely used benchmark because it balances burst speed against stamina — a 1-second test rewards a single fast twitch, while 30 and 60 second runs are endurance tests where most people lose 20–30% of their opening rate. Everything is measured in your browser; nothing is uploaded or stored.
